Cusco, Peru

SALOME 1 will take place January 12-15, 2024,  a the  National University of Saint Anthony the Abbot  (UNSAAC) in Cusco, Peru.  

Author of the book Philosophia Thomistica (Roma, 1688), also known as Logic, one of the earliest logical works by an intellectual born in the American continent. His alma mater was the Seminary of San Antonio Abad, which later became the university where our event will take place.

 Cusco, ancient capital of the Inca Empire, is close to the Machu Picchu:

Peruvian philosopher and logician,  former ambassador of Peru in Paris, friend of Newton da Costa,  Miró Quesada coined the expression "paraconsistent logic" and was a main contributor to the philosophy of non-classical logics.
